 Teaching that ties being a disciple of Jesus to our day-to-day work is rare. What exists is primarily moral instruction: Being honest in business dealings, having integrity, and not making money an idol. The idea is that our characters will shine so brightly that people will ask us about our source. How is that going for you? In a den of thieves, that puts us at a disadvantage. However, Jesus told us to be "wise as serpents and innocent as doves." But, don't you think that the God who numbers the hairs on your head would not be intensely interested in your work? Jesus said that the Kingdom had come upon us. If so, as its citizens, we can reflect not only its character but also its skill and wisdom. That is what this workbook will do. In addition, with the march of technology, it is necessary to develop and refine the God-given faculty of creativity.   Wherever you are, you must find a way to contribute to the enterprise's success, whether a corporation or sole proprietorship. That is why it is subtitled "The Creative Contributor." So, far from being a liability, discipleship is the true "Christian advantage." ​​​​​​​      This discipleship workbook is for you whether you are the CEO or on the assembly line. Our work reflects who we are and who He is in us. We are to be kingdom effectors everywhere we go. Since we spend most of our waking hours at work, we must seek ways to build, develop, and improve the Kingdom of God. We are to be about our Father's business, and we can show you how so you can show others how to do it, too!
