What is a “Christian business?” Or, more fundamentally, “Is there such a thing?” And further, if these businesses can exist, do they have a “Christian Advantage?” It is to these large questions that this publication attempts to contribute, which will be partial due to the magnitude of the inquiry. In doing that it will show the “practices” that we think will express God’s goodness in the realm of business and help it make disciples. However, beyond that, like all the others in the Whole Life Discipleship series, it is a workbook that seeks to bring one larger portion of a person’s life into the flow of being a disciple of Jesus. Indeed, this has been an area regarded outside the circle of a Christian’s spiritual life, relegating it to the realm of a necessary evil, that of “making money.” But this is not only a “spiritual” workbook as such – it also draws upon many teachings of business wisdom that are currently extant, because we believe that “All truth is God’s Truth.”
